Rhi Wing Chun Kung Fu accepts new students in two intakes per year, March and July. The structured six week beginner course will support your introduction to Wing Chun.
Classes and privates start with warming the body which includes some gentle stretches to help you land in your body. Sil Lim Tao (first Wing Chun form), basic hand techniques and footwork will follow the warm up.
In your first lesson you will have a key take away basic Wing Chun technique. Everyone learns at their own unique pace.
Most Wing Chun students find the journey very personal. It is about you and your own growth and development. You will learn lots of things about yourself and build on all the strengths that make up you.
Wing Chun Kung Fu originated from a woman and is an extremely effective self defence system for those with smaller structure, as it relies on correct postural alignment and technique. The entire system is based on physics.
Whilst Wing Chun Kung Fu is a system for self-defence, Rhi is committed to not positioning those who have experienced violence as responsible for their own protection. Perpetrators that commit acts of violence are to be held accountable for their actions. Rhi is committed to the elimination of violence within our communities.
